Slow startup time, no disk activity

I have an Asus Rampage IV Extreme motherboard, and my computer seems to have an unusually slow startup time. My C drive is on a Samsung 840 pro SSD, so it should have a faster boot time, and it does when it gets to the windows loading screen (which takes about 4 seconds). Is there something I can do to speed up the time from when I press the power button to when windows begins to load? All that goes on before are some screens that say stuff about the hardware and the motherboard and there's no disk activity during that, so is there some sort of delay set up (that I can turn off) that allows you to enter the bios settings or something,?

Solution
Other than the oblivious i would scan for a virus and then press windows key and r and type in msconfig---> Startup ---> open in task manager---> disable all of that you want but keep in mind that some of it is stuff you will need like something along the lines of realtek audio or major things but stuff like java updater and stuff like that can be diabled
