When do you think we will see the next GTX series?

So, the title says it... When do you expect the GTX 1000 series to come. Do you expect them to release in 2015 or much later?

Solution
9 to 12 months most likely. Rumorville says both AMD and Nvidia have just recently taped out their first 16nm GPUs. Now they need to make some "first run" chips, and start testing those out. If they find any problems, they will need to modify their design, tape out again, and start all over with the testing. Eventually, they will get some stable silicon, but at relatively poor yields, and the fabs will be trying to improve that for them, but it all takes time. Lots of testing, modifying designs and processes, and eventually they learn how to with with that node better, and yields increase.

Designing GPUs is an expensive and very time consuming process. Latest estimates on cost to design a modern GPU and bring it to market is between...

Since GM200 already turn into 980ti.....then we will not going to see another series for this year. Next series will depend a lot on when TSMC can be ready with their 16nm FinFet process. As it is there is no way nvidia (nor AMD) can do to increase the performance of their gpu without new process tech. 600mm2. That is the largest gpu nvidia ever build in their history. AMD also have to go big die where in the past they always go with smaller die with tight transistor density.
