Hi all,

I'm hoping to build a pc for £500, £550 MAX. I'm only playing at 1080 screen resolution and no more. Im wanting to play the Witcher 3 (to which is lagging on my current build whilst everything is on low/off) on high as possible. Other games include The crew, elder scrolls online, gta 5. Wanting to play assassins creed syndicate, just cause 4, fallout 4 etc. Basically, the games coming later this year.

I am not looking at an ATX build.

I'm currently within the UK so GBP only please.

Thanks

This is the cheapest if you want good CPU and GTX 970 in a MATX case and with motherboard that will support Broadwell

H97 and Z97 motherboard will support broadwell

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

CPU: Intel Core i5-4460 3.2GHz Quad-Core Processor (£141.26 @ CCL Computers)
Motherboard: MSI H97M-E35 Micro ATX LGA1150 Motherboard (£58.76 @ Scan.co.uk)
Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive (£39.60 @ CCL Computers)
Video Card: Zotac GeForce GTX 970 4GB Video Card (£246.36 @ More Computers)

What are your current PC specs maybe you can re-use something.

So you want MATX build ITX. Why dont you want ATX build ?

Ive only kept 8gb of ram from my previous build so ram is sorted. An atx case is too large. My previous build was AMD fx6300, gigabyte r9 280x. I'm wanting a nvidia gpu such as the 970. Intel cpu is preferred than amd. Having an z97 board would allow me to upgrade to broad well cpu should it not?

Thanks
