Hello everyone!

This is my first time on the forums. It is also my first time building a computer. So please bare with me, I'm still learning. :) Okay. I'm seeking advice from anyone who has a similar set up or is familiar with any of these components.

Here is a link to my build:

What custom sleeved cables do I need to get exactly? Which ones would be showing enough for it to matter? I think I'll order cables from ensourced.net, because I've heard great things about them. Unless someone can suggest a better place? I really would like purple/black/gray colored cables. There's no way I could sleeve them myself, not without royally screwing up. >_>;

Another question: Are the fans I've chosen okay for this setup? I've done plenty of research about which fans to use, but I'm still a little stuck, because I feel I need first hand advice. I have two 140mm fans for front intake. Two 120mm fans that I'll be using on my h100i instead of the stock ones, for exhaust. And lastly, one more 140mm in the back also as exhaust.

If anyone also has any suggestions about well, anything, I'd be very appreciative.

Sorry about the length of my post! I'll probably think of more questions after I've already posted this. xD Thanks, gents.

Just a few things.
1. Adding all those fans is not necessary, nobody will ever see the front fans so the 3 120mm stock fans that come in the front of the case will work just fine their good fans. I would replace only the back with one of the 140mm you picked.
2. Updated CPU cooler again the stock fans that come with this are good ones no reason to replace.

3. The memory don't get the 4 X 4 set it's harder on the memory controller and you can get a 2X8GB set for less money, 1866 speed will do just fine you will see no performance difference.

4 Get a higher quality power supply the RM series are fairly good but you can get better with a 10 year warranty and buy the cables from the same site (just get the full set they list them on the PSU page) doing them yourself is not something you wish to do it takes freaking forever.. The 750 Watts gives you plenty of power for overclocking and adding another 970 in the future if needed to run SLI.

5. Get a video card with a full backplate it looks a lot better.

Thanks for the feedback!

I upgraded both the PSU and the CPU cooler like you suggested. Also listened to your advice with the RAM. When I had the four 4gb ones, I only had aesthetics in mind. Hehe... Something about 4 of those slots filled looked sexier than just 2.

Anyways, I may still replace the fans on the cooler though, because I'm a huge fan of purple LED fans, and just purple in general.

Vonetech.com has an MSI Dragon Backplate that I'll have made for my card. So I think that'll take care of that. I'm also going to paint the red parts of the graphics card white since the red doesn't match my theme.

And what of the sleeved extension cables? Any idea which I should buy? One for PSU and the graphics card? Any others?

Should I get a better thermal compound or is the one that's pre applied good enough?
