Hey, so I'm quite the noob when it comes to software/operating systems.
I've never had to do anything other then brand new clean installs, so my question is, since I have this Vista Home Premium machine that hasn't been reinstalled/formatted in years an years, how do I go about it? The PC came with a OEM of Windows and no DVD. Essentially I want to create a bootable USB, so I can clean install and breath some life back into it. (Also yes I'll backup all the files)
I have a FACTORY_IMAGE partition, do I somehow burn this onto a USB?
Do I have to download the OS .ISO somewhere and if so where would I obtain it? (Legally of course) I can't find anything on the Microsoft website.
Any help would be great, thanks.
