FX6350 is a AM3+ but some AMD AM3 socket motherboards can take AM3+ CPU-it might also
need a bios flash to accept the CPU-you would have to check the motherboard website what CPU
it can take.

990FX-pretty much anything 990FX will except FX6350-and also supports SLI/Crossfire vid card setup-970/980FX chipset will only except Crossfire-AMD radeon/not NVidia SLI setup but will take 1 nvdia vidcard.
