MSI GS30 2M Shadow - Unable to update BIOS

I'm interested in running the dock without an external monitor, so I decided to update the BIOS. After pulling down the update from MSI's website, specifically the support section for the GS30, I receive an error that the ROM is invalid. In the directions it notes that the first number of the file type of the current BIOS version should match the update, but my current version is .0XX and the update is .1XX. Has anybody else had this problem?

My current BIOS is E13F1IMS.026, and the update provided by MSI Support is E13F1IMS.105. Supposedly, they're incompatible because the current BIOS version is .0XX and the update is .1XX.

Did you solve this? I'm running into virtually the same thing, except installed version is ~104, and update is 110; please let me know as soon as you can; it's really frustrating to me, and MSI's own support redirects to its 404 page, and has for going on almost a week.

I had to send my laptop to them for them to fix, but it sounds like you should be able to update to 110 without issue.

I'm opening a ticket w/them, as soon as it stops 404-ing (it's been doing that for 2 days now). You'd think I'd be able to upgrade to 110, but it's totally not working; and, it was the exact error you were getting.
