Good day guys

I'm having a bit of trouble here. My current setup is as follows:

Proc: i3 3220
Mobo: ECS H61H2-MV
GPU: Powercolor HD 7750

I'm planning to do an upgrade but I'm not sure whether I should just upgrade the processor or buy a new proc+mobo. If I do buy a new proc+mobo, should I buy the fx or the i5? I'm also tight on budget (Php16,000 or around USD 400)

what are the pros and cons of each option? I mainly use my rig for gaming 2013 titles and below (and some 2014 titles) @ 720p

Solution
Well the simplest and cheapest thing would be just get the Ivy i5 and not worry about it. Don't bother with the AMD, that wouldn't be enough of an upgrade to justify getting the CPU and mobo.

You could go for the 3470 and put the rest towards upgrading your graphics.

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

CPU: Intel Core i5-3470 3.2GHz Quad-Core Processor ($189.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Video Card: XFX Radeon R9 270X 2GB Double Dissipation Video Card ($159.99 @ Newegg)
Total: $349.98

The 750TI FTW is a great option as well.

2013 games at 720p, your current CPU should be fine honestly.

If you feel the need to upgrade, go all out and get a 4690K at Microcenter (should you have access to one), the $30 off motherboard with purchase makes it fairly economical. The 3470 isn't such a large step from your old CPU that I would feel compelled to upgrade immediately.
