I am on the process of upgrading my 2+ year old pc. I recently bought an evga 970 ftw and I just bought a Samsung 850 evo ssd.

My question is what do I do with my 2 year old ssd ? Do I make my new ssd have my operating system and stuff?

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

Keep using the old ssd till it poops out IMO. Just make sure to backup and watch the performance decline. The samsung has super long life. I would run OS+programs off the samsung first then lesser programs off the old ssd.
