Hi, so I upgraded to fibre around 1-2 months ago and at first everything was good, very fast downloads. However, starting this Saturday my internet will randomly have moments were it goes to 300 kb/s and ridiculously high ping compared to last week were I was getting a minimum of 1mb/s download at all times.Honestly at the moment I'm clueless I have tried all the basic stuff e.g. restart hub. I might also mention that these are wireless speeds. Thanks.

Two thoughts that come to mind:
1) someone moved in nearby and is broadcasting on the same channel, causing interference.
how to check - get a spectrum checking utility and see where the least-used channel for wireless is, or look for other wifi signals, if there's a lot, you might be getting interference.
how to solve - find a quiet channel.
2) you hit a bandwidth cap with your ISP, only way to fix this is to contact the ISP, and that may not be fixable.

First thing to check is whether you get the same issues on a different PC, and on a wired connection.
