Having trouble running a couple games after new motherboard install

So recently (~3 months) I got a new motherboard, ram, and a new case. I'm assuming it's the motherboard not playing nice, since before it I've never gotten blue screens or had a frozen PC, but I could very easily be wrong. When I play GTA 5, it is obviously a very intensive game, but I would hope my specs would be able to handle it. It either freezes my pc as soon as I start the game, or 30+ minutes in. I usually play GTA Online instead of the story, if that's important, yet I have played the story with no issues that I could remember, but this does happen so often that I would forget it quickly. It's only the moments where I let my friends down when I remember. I also have trouble with Borderlands 2, but only when I use cheat engine. Both versions of the program crash my PC sooner or later, and I have never been able to open cheat engine then close it without having my computer blue screen or freeze or completely black out and restart. This is the same as what was happening to GTA 5. I can play other games fine, like Fallout 3 GOTY heavily modded, Mafia II, Payday 2, and many more. GTA 5 without cheat engine & Borderlands 2 with cheat engine have been the only games having these problems. I have dusted my computer, cleared my CMOS on the motherboard and in the BIOS, and nothing has changed except maybe I can squeeze some more time before it crashes. It would be greatly appreciated if someone could help me solve this issue, thanks.

Solution
Can you try a different PSU, the CX series of PSUs has weak caps, I won't touch them on a build. Also for a 780 based rig such as yours want a good 600, the CX600 is 600 peak, it only carries about 520 on the 12 volt rail

I don't have any more PSUs that would have a big enough capacity for my computer, is there any other solution? Also, if I got one, what would you choose?
