I am looking for a good motherboard that has expand ability for future things like a graphics card setup with SLI. I prefer MSI but if there is a better motherboard for around that price which is better, then that might be the choice. Thank you in advance!

My current setup specs are:
Intel core i5 4690k
Corsair obsidian 750d
Corsair h100i
Msi h81m-e33 micro ATX motherboard
EVGA Geforce gtx 750ti SC
Thermaltake smart 650w
Wd black 1tb drive
G.SKILL Ares Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory
Windows 10

I have heard that the z97-a has a really bad NIC. Is this true? I do not want to spend $150 on something that has a bad NIC and have read reviews. People were also saying that the IO shield did not come with the motherboard and that Asus was blaming them for the bent cpu pins when the wrong socket cover was shipped to them. On newegg.com, only half the people gave it 5 stars and 26% gave it 1 star. There are also only 6 usb ports and only 4 sata ports. It will probably be hard to convince me to get this motherboard, but maybe I will. Are there any other motherboards for around the $150 range that are good? I trust you but I just want to make sure I get a good motherboard.

Originally i was going for Msi, but now I think I will go for Asus z97-a because the z97-c was used in a linustechtips build guide and had good overclocking features. I have seen the bios, which looks easy to use, but could be wrong. Anyways, if anyone else has a good motherboard they want to tell me about, feel free to do so!
