I wanted to buy the HP Pavilion 550 PC. It has a AMD Kaveri CPU , and a 300w PSU. I wanted to swap out the PSU for a new 500w PSU for it. It needs to be able to easily use the GTX 750 Ti or GTX 960 , and have a 80+ rating. I'm not sure what kind of PSU to get , it says it has a uATX PSU so yeah. Thanks for the help!

the only trouble you will probably run into. that may be unavoidable is clearance. i would measure your current psu as aftermarket builders power supply's are likely larger than your Chinese no name one

well for real matx psu's are generally like the one that came with your pc. thats why i suggested taking some measurments. if you can fit a standard atx power suppy in your case go for it. any of the *modular* PSU's from corsair are fine. if you dont get modular you wont have any room for all the spare wires
