Hi all, I recently upgraded my PC and I can't get my "ADATA Premier Pro SP900 M.2 Type 2280 Solid State Drive, 512GB" < http://www.memoryexpress.com/Products/MX52842 > to be detected in the BIOS by my "Asus Z97-A w/ DDR3 1600, 7.1 Audio, Gigabit LAN, SLI / 3-Way CrossFireX" motherboard < http://www.memoryexpress.com/Products/MX52001 >.
I have:
- Gone into the BIOS in Advanced mode and turned on the M.2 support
- Installed windows 7 on my 64 bit OS and have all the latest updates.
- Installed all the drivers that came with the motherboard, installed the driver update utilities and updated all of my motherboard drivers.
- Confirmed the asus version 2205 version of 02/12/2015 "should" have m.2 support.
- Unseated and reseated the m.2 chip.
I have not been able to find a solution anywhere. If anyone could shed some light on things to try, I would be appreciative. Please let me know if you need more info.
Cheers,
