Computer will turm on but wont display anything

so i built my pc and i turn it on but the screen wont display anything..

CPU: Amd fx 8320
Motherboard: MSI 970 gaming
GPU: Asus Geforce GTX 980
RAm: 8gb vengeance ram
PSU: corsair 750w
Storage: 1tb western digital

plzzz help

Do you have a case speaker connected? This is a case speaker : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16812201032&cm_re=case_speaker-_-12-201-032-_-Product this product allows you to hear the trouble codes emitted by the motherboard to help in diagnosis.

Be sure all hardware is plugged in properly all wires are plugged in tight

I really recommend getting one other wise we will just be guessing and shooting in the dark to help you. These can be found cheaper than the one I linked to, I did that to give a visual, and many PC stores have them in stock.

Other than that try one stick of ram at a time, be sure the monitor is plugged into the GPU, be sure the CPU power connector is plugged in all the way, be sure the GPU is powered properly.
