I just built a new system, all was good for 3 days then my internet browsers started crashing. First Firefox, didn't pay it any mind, started using Google chrome. Then chrome started crashing. OK, so I switched to internet explorer n started doing some research. The ie crashed too. I scan my system for malware with 4 different software. System is clean. It's only 3 days old. I did a disk clean up and made sure all my drivers are up to date. Still crashing. I did a system restore to early yesterday, problem remains.

It's a msi 970ag43 motherboard, fx6300 CPU, gtx750 gpu, Kingston fury 8gb and windows 7 64bit.

I do have oc genie ON, I'm not sure if that would cause it to crash.

My next step is to format the hard drive and start from scratch if nothing else works.

I ran adwcleaner. It found a couple things, my browsers ran fine for about 1 day then it started crashing again. I ran adwcleaner again and it did not find anything. This driving me nuts! I cannot find anything wrong!

Looks like chrome is crashing. You may have to ask Google what the prob is / how to fix it.

I dont use Chrome and dont intend to. It's too buggy. And it's like a malware magnet. Everyone I know somehow manages to either crash when they use it. Or gets infected somehow

I know this is late, but i found out what was causing my browsers to crash...... my ram. messing around in bios, i saw that my ram was set to auto. ???? so i put it at 1866, because thats what the ram is rated for. ever since then, my browsers have not crashed and i am not using as much ram while idling. before i would be using 32% with nothing open. now, its around 18%.
