Hi will a Toshiba THNSNF256GMCS SSD fit in a desktop?

It has a i7-4790k and a MSI Z97S SLI Krait Edition Mobo

It will but you'll need an adapter. Get an msata to sata adapter and it'll work. Your motherboard has an M.2 slot, not an msata slot.
