Rendering advice: Quadro 4000 vs GTX 970

Hello!

I`m using Cyberlink PowerDirector 13 for rendering videos.

Which would help more: GTX 970 or Quadro 4000?
The thing is I can get the Quadro very very cheap from a friend. Should I mention that I already got the 970? The question is: would it be worth 150 USD into the Quadro with the GTX 970 in the rig already?

I`ve read somewhere that even Intel integrated graphics would help more than these?

I`m as confused as an ostrich :). Rendering video without GPU help, and that all because of drivers... isn`t that kinda ridiculous? :-s

Yep. And when I asked their response was - they are minimum requirements. You should use latest graphics cards and drivers.

I've been going back and forth for 2 days. You can't email them. You have to fill in a tedious enquiry and it takes them a day to get back to you. I think this is designed to allow them to hide.

Ehh, I wont bather.
Will just keep my 4790k with the GTX 970 (both with noctua coolers on them :p ) and run the PD off them.

However, I would die to know the advantage a quadro would supply vs a normal card when using PD...

Regarding your concern, I would like to inform you that the system specification mentioned on the CyberLink website for PowerDirector 13 is the Minimum System Requirements for the smooth funtioning of the software.You can go for the maximum systems requirements and update your system to the latest drivers

You can go for the updated drivers.These updated driver will be compatible with all cyberlink softwares.

In case of Video hardware acceleration in PowerDirector there is a need to download and install an earlier driver to re-enable hardware acceleration.

I am suggesting you to update the Drivers of your PC to latest build, please be noted that the system specification mentioned on the CyberLink website for PowerDirector 13 is the minimum system requirement required for the functioning of the software.You can go for the maximum systems requirements
