My friend has cable internet with iiNet. Currently they are using a Belkin N300 Wireless N Router to provide WiFi to the house.
We're fairly confident that the router is causing issues with an online game and I'd like to try a replacement one to see if it makes a difference.
The only wireless router I have at my disposal is a D-Link DSL-2740b. I want to know if it's possible to use the D-Link as a wireless router with the cable internet? I tried switching routers but it didn't work. I was able to get an Internet connection on the PC, but it then wouldn't let me access the router config page to set up a wireless network.
Any info on this topic would be appreciated, thanks!
