high pitched noise only when starting up game?

i get a high pitched noise only when starting up a game for about 2 to 3 seconds.
it might be my graphics cards fan as i have a gtx 970 asus strix one and the fans only spi up after50 to 60 degrees.could someone help me with this?

Nothing to worry about, its called coil whine. Sometimes when you start games the FPS goes crazy high (1000s) before it has anything complex to render, coil whine is very common in this scenario.

Its coil whine, I get it too. I think it comes from transducers when there is a very high fps? I'm not too knowledgeable on the actual circuitry of a graphics card but it's nothing to worry about.

Certain cards suffer with coil whine than others. I believe it is more aimed to ATI cards actually...no slating I swear here!

Could be the PSU too, in rare cases even the mainboard.
In any case nothing to worry about.

Coil Whine.

Turn v-Sync on in the GPU driver, not the game. This will force it for all games at all times and help prevent or lessen this.
