So is everything fully compatible?is this pc good?plz rate this pc out of 10 and tell me why...this pc is for heavy gaming only and i'm not going to OVERCLOCK NW maybe in the future then i'm going to change my cpu cooler...i want to play all the games at max settings on a 1080p 60hz monitor @60fps for the next 3 years atleast is that possible?if not then how much fps at max settings?and if the game runs well i'm going to use DSR...
Thx in advance bros :)

Solution
H97 doesn't support SLI so get a Z series MB if your getting the I5 4690K. The I5 4690K and GTX 980ti are compatible with everything you have and the PSU is more then powerful enough for the system and overclocking. You will want to replace it though if you decide on getting a 2nd GPU for SLI.

If you aren't going to overclock at all, save some cash by goinging Xeon E3-1231 V3 and an H97 board.

Otherwise, is there any particular reason you are going with the 4790k over the 4690K?

I'd swap out your power supply for a brand I trust more than Cooler Master like XFX or EVGA.

If the OP switched to a Xeon or locked cpu like the i5-4590 (both will be better for price/performance for gaming) then using the savings off those then to get the 980ti 6gb instead of the 980 since theres no H97 MB that support SLI. Plus a single powerful GPU is always better then 2 lesser cards in SLI, less heat, less power usage, and less driver/game issues. And for 1080P gaming that gpu will last quite a long time. Also they could get a smaller PSU as well.

well i'm going to overclock but not nw...the reason i got the 4790k over the i5 is that i want it to stay with me for a longer timer...it's more future proof i think...and for the upcoming pascale in 2016 i want something to be good enough for this gpu and the psu is a tier 2 so it's very good

This.

I'll take your word for it on the PSU. I have had an insanely horrible experience with Cooler Master customer service and them being slow (at best) in responding to messages, RMA and parts requests...etc. I finally got my water cooler back a week ago after 2.5 months.

If you dont want to OC it will be the same if you get XEON E3 1231 v3 (its a locked i7 4790 without IGPU) but i7, XEON and i5 will last same amount of time in gaming if you dont want to OC the difference between i5 and Xeon or i7 is tha XEON and i7 have more threads which would help if you will be doing video editing or recording/streaming gameplay

And CM V series PSUs are Tier 1 not 2. So even better :D

Eh.. if you're gaming 1080p a 980 Ti is a complete waste of money. Even a 980 is arguably overkill if you're being budget conscious. 980 Ti may be a good idea if he's going to pick up an oculus or something in the spring, though. If it were me for 1080p I'd just grab a 970 for ~$300, then pounce on a Pascal card in 2016, which will be 10x faster for all the future proofing you could ever want.

The only thing the Xeon lacks is a iGPU, which is actually good since you have a dedicated GPU (980 or 980ti) and because of that it will run much cooler due to less power usage. DX12 should help programs utilize HT more effectively but well see when official benchmarks are released.

well since i'm going to play on a 1080p 60hz monitor the the gtx 980 is already an overkill so the gtx 980ti is pointless...and since i'm going to upgrade after 3 years anyway so the gtx 980 is better for me....what i want to know is can i reach 60fps on all the games on max settings for the next 3 years?if not then how much fps?

well i'm going to get the oculus that's coming out at Q1 2016 but i saw the recommended requierements for the oculus my pc is fully compatible and it's better than the recommended right?so the gtx 980ti is still pointless...they said gtx 970 or better...and the gtx 980 is better right?and anyway i'm going to swap for the pascale...but this pc i'm going to get is fully compatible with the rift right?will it encounter any issues with it?

Agreed on Ti being overkill for 1080p. What I'm saying is that the 970 has 85% of the performance of the 980 for 65% of the price. You could save a few hundred bucks now picking up a 970, then grab a pascal GPU next year and really be future proof. Pascal is going to throw a real wrench in the works for people trying to make a 3 year plan right now. Check it out: http://wccftech.com/nvidia-pascal-gpu-gtc-2015/

10x performance means everything you see today is instantly obsolete, and game designers have a totally different target for system performance. It's worth thinking about.

i would accept above 40 so my minimum fps is 40...so it's possible to get 40+ for the next 3+years maxed out right?

you're right...but what if the pascale was way overpriced?10xbetter then that's must be something way more expensive than the titan x itself or the titan z right?i don't think nividia is making something this awesome and it's going to sell it cheap right?i mean i'm expecting the price to be 1000$+ or what do u think?anyway even if i got the gtx 980 i will do my best to get this pascale but i don't think i'm going to get it at the launch date...
