Is 4gb memory in a computer good for running minecraft smoothly around 65 fps? (while recording)

I am about to buy a computer and would like the computer to be able to run minecraft smoothly.
Also what are some good characteristics of a good gaming computer? Ex: the core compressor the hard drive and memory.
This is what i found for my price range ($500-$400):

Those systems are sold more for the case looks than anything else, it has a low end video card for games and a low end CPU. Did you look into building your own system? For $500 you could have gone up at least one more rung in speeds in both CPU and video card.
