Need help about ram purchase

Hi all.Im looking to buy the Corsair Vengeance 8GB DDR3-1600MHz (CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9).
But I am not sure if it will work with my pc.Im a bit of newbie in pc harware :p.
Here are my system specs:

Motherboard:Intel DX58SO
CPU:Intel i7 920 @2.67 ghZ
GPU: GTX 750 2GB OC
RAM: 2x2GB Kingston something

That motherboard is rated up to 1066 memory. It will make the ram perform slower. I would replace the cpu and mobo before I would care about ram. An fx 4200 and cheap mobo would be a cheap upgrade that is worth while.
