Compatible processors for motherboard

What you have is a Gigabyte GA-F2A78M-HD2 FM2+ Socket based Motherboard. This board only supports FM2/FM2+ Socket based AMD Processors.
So i7 is 100% "NOT" compatible with the Gigabyte GA-F2A78M-HD2 Motherboard.
The i7 is a Intel LGA1150 Socket based Processor. If you want to install a Intel i7 Processor, then you need to buy a Intel LGA1150 Socket based Motherboard.
The Gigabyte GA-F2A78M-HD2 "ONLY" supports these AMD Processors:
