Hello Forum,
I've set my CPU speed manually in the bios to 4.0ghz (multiplier x20), and I've set the Vcore manually to 1.26205v. All other bios settings are on Auto including LLC.
I always have HWiNFO running in the background and keep an eye on the temps and stuff. P95 test for an hour also passes. Normally after gaming I check the CPU max speed in Hwinfo and it shows as 4200mhz sometimes (mostly it sticks to near 4000mhz).
Today after playing GTA V I checked Hwinfo and the max CPU speed showed 4400mhz.
How can it get so high even though I've set it to 4ghz in the bios, but it still goes over, can it cause problems?
Thanks
