I'm using a NViDIA GeForce GTX 970, and I recently got a driver update for Arkham Knight through my driver updates, I usually play battlefield 4 but the way geforce put out updates basicly suggests that it would make the GPU ready for a specific game, but it's an update for the GPU nonetheless.

So I ran the update and ever since then as soon as I pull up Battlefield 4, my screen goes black and I have to restart my PC in order to be able to see anything.

I rolled back the driver on my GPU but I'm still getting the same result.

I can load the game, and do anything else I want to on my computer, but as soon as I actually click on the game so that I can see what's going on, the screen goes blank.

I used to run the game w/ no problems.

Any ideas what I can do?

Also, my screen seems to suddenly have what almost looks like a shadow for every little thing on the screen all of a sudden.

Like on this webpage I can see a greyish outline to everything on the screen.
