cpu:intel i7 4790k
gpu:asus gtx 980 ti 6gd5
ram:16gb kingston hyper x fury 1600mhz
mobo:gigabyte z97x ud5h bk
psu:cm v750 gold
case:cm storm trooper
so is this good?or there's something better?i want to play all the latest games at max settings @60fps and if possible 4k DSR @40+fps...so can this build do it?plz tell me the best gaming pc around 1800$ i'd like the i7 4790k with the gtx 980 ti but if there's something more powerful then i'd like it...the cheaper the better...

A month? Wait for the AMD Fury to be released. Should also be a new crop of Z170 boards, LGA1151 DDR4 Skylake CPUs.

From your signature and other details, you already have most of that equipment? Wouldn't you just be swapping the 980 for a 980Ti?

Maybe that is just a dream build in his sig?

Also OP, DSR doesn't use as much power as true 4k. I use full DSR and I only lose a few fps.

i know that the dsr doesn't use as much power as true 4k but the main reason i want something like the gtx 980 ti is that i want this pc to stay with me for a long time...and no that's not my ''DREAM''rig my dream rig will be something like 4 titan x...

Just because you don't get the top 1% of computers doesn't mean you aren't getting a good machine. Heck you are getting in the top 20% I am guessing.

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/k68NHx Is that your current build in your signature or one you plan on building? If that is your current build you are wasting a lot of money upgrading from that.
