Alright, my Ram died. And caused many BSODs. I ran a memtest86 on one stick, got 500+ errors before it was over. Ran it on both, and got 4. My current/bad ram is:
CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9
and I would like to know an equivalent. I do not want the same, as they had ginormous "heat spreaders" and partially blocked my cooler master hyper 212 evo. I have an fx 8350 and a 970 extreme3 mobo from Asrock. I plan on switching to Intel over this summer, what is some good 1600 ddr3 8 gb ram that would work with both? I would prefer to order from Amazon as I have a 50 dollar gift card. Thanks in advance.
