Is it possible to fix a RAM slot?

I have 2 Ram slots ddr3 1333mhz and 2nd slot is not working.When i insert ram stick in 2nd slot ill get blank screen. Can anyone suggest a solution.im not able to play new games due to this problem.

Assuming it only has 2 RAM slots and not 4, you'll need to buy a new motherboard if you want to use the second RAM module, or buy a single 1x8 module for a temporary fix.

It's an old computer with Intel i3 DDR3 motherboard. Yes, you are correct first one works properly and 2nd one doesn't [ it has never been used].
