If you're just gaming, you could go with an i5-4690K (the i7 will only give you a 2-3 fps boost in games at most) and use the saved money to get a better quality motherboard, maybe one with SLI capabilities for future upgrades. Also some lower latency RAM and a better quality PSU, the EVGA NEX models are average at best, you need to get one of their B2 or G2 models.
