Hey I am currently trying to build a gaming PC but it currently costs between $800-$850 but I want to cut down about $100. I want to be able to play witcher 3 and other future games in 1080p max setting with all right frame rate.

These are my current PC parts and price.
CPU: AMD fx-6300 $98 (want to overclock to 4.3ghz)
GPU: gigabyte gtx 970 $350 (I think it's the best bang for buck high end GPU)
Case: Antec 300 two gaming case $60 (I want a case with two front intake fans)
CPU Cooler: Cooler master hyper 212 $32
PSU: EVGA 500watt $45
HDD: WD Blue 1tb $48 (I originally had an SSHD at $75 but tried to cut down on cost)
Ram: (every Rams the same) crucial balistix $51
MoBo: Asus m5a97 r2.0 $110 (I think it's the best for overclocking the CPU)
Case fan: Antec Tricool x2 $18

The asus board is good , but not brilliant . This Asrock is a better overclocker
The cpu cooler is bigger and better
The psu is better

The UD3P is a very good AM3+ motherboard .
But it will not be a better overclocker than the Asrock 970 performance which is rated for the 220 watt FX 8 cores .
Those processors are not in the UD3P support list .

The Asrock can crossfire/SLI . The -UD3P cant do either of those .
And the Asrock has an M.2 socket for ultra fast SSD connection .

Thanks, useful but I guess I should point out that I live in Australia. Some of the parts you picked and the places I should get them from are a bit different for me. I also have a very old PC (old meaning can't use any parts) but it still has an optical drive I can use.

Witcher 3 is pretty demanding, An FX would bottleneck a 970, while the i5 from Intel would not. The intel build is better.
