I upgraded my mobo a couple of months ago, but have an unopened Intel motherboard sitting around. I bought it about 18 months ago as the Ivy Bridge boards began to disappear on the market. I upgraded to the newest Generation, so I now have no use for it.

The easy answer is Ebay, but I simply don't have the time to hassle with that. I'm tempted to donate it to Goodwill, but that would put me out of some potential money. Frankly, I'm just tired to looking at it. Has anyone tried selling computer parts at Pawn shops?

I haven't but I doubt you would get much. People simply don't go to pawn shops looking for products like that. They DO go to ebay for that kind of stuff. I say take the time and put it on Ebay. Really only need to snap a couple of photos and you can just search that motherboard on ebay and select "Sell similar" and it will fill everyting in for you.

I wasn't aware of a classifieds section. I'll keep that in mind as an option. Shipping costs are the largest impediments I can foresee, especially since UPS is the most convenient for me (better hours than the Post office).

The board didn't sell on ebay and I get the impression no one wants ASROCK. The shipping costs are going to be too high for what people are willing to pay.

Any ideas on how to recycle these things? I have some USED parts I could dispose of as well.
