so I have this PC http://www.bestbuy.com/site/ibuypower-desktop-amd-fx-series-8gb-memory-500gb-hard-drive-black-blue/6980021.p?id=1218818471270&skuId=6980021 and I want to upgrade my graphic card to play minecraft like pvp and use no more than a 128by128 texture pack and run on high settings! I want to get around like 60 or more if possible! I might be asking for a lot but just give me some suggestions that I can look at!

And If i upgrade the graphics card will I need to upgrade something else to? Thanks

Any of those you just mentiond they are all pretty much the same, some will neeed a 6pin pci express connetor however and i dont know if you power supply has that.

This would be a good choice nice and small and im almost positive your system will power it.

Can't go wrong with a Gtx 750ti. It's a very well rounded card that will definitely improve your gaming experience regardless. It's capable of maxing minecraft and reaching fps probably above 100. Enjoy~

You should be fine just upgrading the graphics card. Try to find a GTX 400 up to a GTX 600 series series; any higher would be overkill for Minecraft. They are pretty inexpensive at this point although they can be difficult to find new.

Edit: I agree with Erwin too; the 750 Ti will be fine and probably easier to find.

Yeah, a GTX 750ti will help a lot, but you still might run into CPU issues. Because minecraft cares a great deal about your CPU.
Still, the GPU you had in there before was only to make up for the complete lack of graphics the system would have otherwise, so this will be a huge improvement.

On a 750ti:
Minecraft: Settings: High Settings Avg:191 Min:0 (loading chunks) Max:393

I think only that EVGA FTW edition requires an extra PCIE cable, the rest of the 750ti series don't.

MSI's twin frozr cooler is one of the best, and it's easy to OC it to the same settings as the more expensive factory OC'd ones.

The gigabyte one does, I thought the msi one did as well i guess not. The msi twin frozr version would also be a great choice.

Admirable

OC means overclock. You have good enough RAM, but the 4300 isn't the best AMD processor, and it wouldn't kill you to upgrade that as well.

It will do just fine with the 750 ti, that is a very balanced build i wouldn't upgrade to another AMD cpu for gaming thats pointless in my opinion.

Yes. If you got another amd cpu the performance gain you would receive would be nowhere near worth the money.

Yes everything will work, you never told me what power supply you have i would like to know that to be absolutely sure. I have no idea what 64x64 texture smooth is but it should max out minecraft at well over 60fps 1080p.
