Do we need to update our hardware drivers before installation of Windows 10?
I talked to Microsoft Technician about Windows 10 app which is not showing in my PC even after doing all the updates and he told just wait for hardware drivers which will be supported by windows 10!
But I am not getting this since hardware drivers are installed after installing Windows right?
So why did he told that first update your hardware drivers and then you will be able to get Windows 10!

Windows 10 is a new operating system and the final version is not yet released. Until it is released for general use, drivers for it would not be available. Most of the drivers which work in 8.1 will work in 10 as well. But it is not always the same with all drivers.

So we will need to wait for hardware manufacturers to bring out drivers specially designed for Windows 10.

Remember how it was when Windows 8 was released?

I did. And what I was mentioning was related to that. As I said earlier, Windows 10 will need its own drivers to be installed after it is installed on your computer.

As of now, the developers & User review versions which are out now, can use Windows 8.1 drivers. But once the final version is out, you will need to install drivers for the hardware designed for Windows 10.

okay. the rep might have misunderstood. also the hardware drivers as you said are installed after rhe os is installed. so ,missing apps does not have anything to do with drivers. but they might be added to the os with later os updates. the rep might have mistakenly said drivers update instead of os updates which are downloaded & installed by the os automatically.
