My suggestion would be to upgrade to a Core 2 Quad 2 Quad Q6600 or above, which should give you a nice boost in performance.

I would also upgrade your RAM to atleast 4GB, preferably 6GB of ddr2.

For GPU you could buy something like a GTX460 or 470 or even a newer generation. ( A card from the 200 series is also possible, since they go for very low prices but they don't support dx11 or 12, and they also require a fairly high wattage when compared to newer cards.)

Depending on what this will cost you it is up to you to decide whether it is worth it or not.

First of all, you need to upgrade that processor. It will bottleneck all high end cards during gaming so badly. For a new cpu, you need to get a new motherboard as well. After that you must upgrade your RAM to 8GB. That's the minimum recommended for PC gaming these days.

Thanks a lot.

This is five-year old LGA775 board, and begore you spend tons of money on it (Q6600 on LGA775 itself is $170), ask yourself whether to put money on dead horse or not. It might turn out new motherboard / CPU / RAM will be much wiser investment in long term.

If you go with CPU upgrade - make sure you upgrade BIOS before that.
