I just finished installing my Asus Radeon R9 270 on my Intel DH61WW Motherboard with Corsair VS550 Smps
After a sturggle with the Bios and a successful update i am now facing a heating issue with the card.
Without the internet adapter connected to the mobo the GPU works fine at an idle temp of 34-37 C
However as soon as the internet adapter is plugged to the Mobo the GPU heats up like crazy within 5 mins it can reach temps of 96C
So For now i've unplugged the internet and the GPU seems to be kinda ok doing temps of 64-70 C while gaming
Could it be something to do with the drivers or is it just the slot on the mobo
Please help me im already frustrated spending about 2 days just to get the Graphic card started after battling with Bios
