I was thinking about buying a i5 4690k which is 250€ and one of my friends is selling his i7 2700k for 170€, I was watching reviews and the power of both for gaming is almost the same, 2700k seems better, but its older, do you guys think its still worth buying the 2700k ? Thanks!

Solution
If you have a motherboard that can overclock the i7 2700k such as a decent Z77 motherboard and a decent cpu cooler, you could match/beat the i5 4690k. You should check if the cpu works though before buying from your friend.
i am still on a 2600k (at 5ghz)

nothing since has been worth the cost to performance gained to make me upgrade even though i am itching to upgrade

but if buying either of those i would have to lean towards a new 4690k over a possibly 4 year old 2700k that would have no warranty
