Hello all. For about a year, I have been able to play all my games fine, but within the past few weeks, my computer has began to restart when i play some games. But not right when I start them up. I can load the games up fine and sit in their main menus for as long as I want, but as soon as I enter a game session and load into the map, the computer restarts.
The games in particular that are causing the restarting are CS:GO, Rust, and 3v3's in LoL. I'm able to play other games just fine like Terraria, Minecraft, Payday 2, and 5v5's in LoL. I have verified the game cache for both Steam games, and the problem continued.

Computer Specs:
OS: Windows 8.1
MOBO: MSI 970 Gaming motherboard
CPU: AMD FX 6300
Graphics Card: GeForce GTX 650 Ti BOOST
PSU: Coolmax 600W

I recently replaced my old motherboard and power supply (from a 430W) to the current ones i have listed, thinking that they were the issue, but they were not. I have also updated the drivers for my graphics card, and made sure windows was up to date.

I also monitored the temps when I start up these games, and when I am entering the game (right before the restart), The temps for my CPU and Graphics card are around 61C.

Also, whenever my computer does restart, my internet router seems to go out. The router is connected to the same power strip that my computer is connected to, and the strip said that it was surge protected. Just thought this might be useful in figuring out the root of the problem.

I am just asking if this could be a software or hardware issue, and what I could do to fix this. Thank you for taking the time to read this and help with my problem.

from what it seems it may not be a computer problem. it could be that there's too much power needed on that circuit and not enough available, try connecting your computer to a less busy circuit in the house.

Just tried plugging it into another circuit with less things on it, and it still restarted after a few seconds in rust.

yes, just unplugged and replugged everything back into all the components and made sure there were secured good, and the computer restarted after a few seconds in game.
