For some reason my 240GB S60 SSD is reading a temp of 99 Celsius according to HWMonitor and SpeedFan. Is this normal or just a false reading? I'm inclined to believe it's an incorrect reading as the dang thing says 99 under load or not.

Also, in the opinion of the forum gurus, which programs are most reliable/accurate for measuring temps? I use HWMonitor, Speccy and SpeedFan and there seems to be 5 degree or so difference between these three.

My specs:

4790k @ 4.4ghz
z97x-ud5h bk
16gb ddr3 2133mhz
gtx 970 ftw
240gb s60 ssd
2tb wd hdd

I just opened up the pc and touched it. It's not very warm at all so it must be a false reading. I wonder why two programs are both saying 99 though.

Right. The ssd is probably the coolest of the components inside there. Guess I'll just ignore those readings.

I'm using CPUID HWMonitor and there are 2 readings for my SSDs (I have 2 SSDs installed); the readings are assembly temp and drive temp. The assembly temp seems to be reading normal at 30-31C on each; however, the drive temp on both seem to be false readings. The first SSD is reading 1C and the other is reading 99C. Sooo.. yeah.
