I built a PC long ago, and now I feel ready to upgrade it. I want to know which (One upgrade) upgrade will give me better performance. I mostly use it for gaming and uploading videos on YouTube. Here are the specifications:

CPU: Intel i5-4460

CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper TX3

Motherboard: Asus H97 Pro Gamer

Ram: Corsair Vengeance Pro 8 (2x4)GB

GPU: MSI R9 270X Hawk

Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB Hard Drive (Not really worried about storage, got lots left)

Power supply: Antec High Current Gamer 520W

Thanks in advance!

If your monitor is sufficient, then a gpu upgrade to a gtx970 would be the biggest performance upgrade, as far as gaming goes, but it'll have almost no impact on anything else as the 270x is respectable for video etc.

For the broadest performance increase, an SSD will have good performance increase. Depending on the app. Boot times will be greatly affected, and anything after initial load will see a boost, as will anything stored on the SSD.

Other than that, you've got some good quality and good performing parts, so much so that unless you have a bug to OC, don't warrant an upgrade
