Hi guys, so I've passed memtest86 on default settings 5 times. How do I find the faulty memory module? I know I have one because I keep getting errors from games like CSGO and GTA5. I know it's not my hard drive because I've tested the games on different hard-drives and it's really annoying. It's not my Windows either, because I've refreshed my OS twice and it started happening.

Please help, I keep getting competitive bans and I'm home alone every week-day and it's boring without CSGO.

How do I find the faulty memory module?

What settings do I use to test in memtest86?

PLEASE HELP

Thanks

Solution
Memtest tests all RAM modules that are installed, you can't force it to ignore any of them.

You find the faulty one(s) by testing each module on it's own - - that means you remove all bar one module, test it, then do same with all the other modules in turn.

Solution
How long have you had the memory in the system.
Is the current set up with an all matched pair or pairs of memory sticks by the same brand maker along with the speed rating and timing values of each stick of memory in the system along with the voltage rating of each memory stick or module fitted.
Have a check and go through each one while mem testing a single stick in the mobo.

If you notice and speed or timing settings vary from one module or memory stick.
Then you may have to manually do some settings in your bios to get the system stable.
Report back and I will tell you how to sort it all out if each stick on it`s own passes the mem test.
with no errors.
Just a bit of extra help if mem test passes each stick on it`s own, just PM me, and will explain procedure.
You can often get errors due to mixed memory kits by another brand, but they still all pass a memtest as the bios does not get conflicted because of two settings and value reports. If it get the wrong one say it will cause a random BSOD.

Almost a year.
It started happening like 2 months ago, otherwise they were fine.
