Hi guys.. I am playing (or trying to play) GTA 5 PC (DVD Version).. The issue is that I am facing graphics problems.. the textures take a while to load.. also FPS is around 20.. often drops below 10!!

My system:

Intel core i5 2320 3.0 Ghz
Intel DH61WW mobo
8 GB RAM 1333 Mhz
Asus Strix Geforce GTX 960 2GB OC
Cooler Master Thunder 500 W PSU
Seagate 1TB HDD

I have an ongoing ticket with Rockstar.. last day they asked me to check CPU and GPU Temp while playing the game..

So using CORETEMP i measured the temp..

All the 4 cores showed a load of 90-98%

And the temps 96-99 degree Celcius..

What to do??

Edit: GPU temp was ranging between 50-55 degree Celcius

Edit #2: Using SPEED FAN, i can see the same temps and fan speed maxing out at 2481 rpm..

Edit #3: Actually the fan speed went up to just over 3000 rpm (found that out later on)

This^ Make sure not to put on too much paste.

Yeah those temps are to high and you really don't want to be running it that close to 100c for long periods of time or you will damage it. You should get aftermarket cpu cooler or at least reapply the thermal paste on your stock cooler.
