I am going to build a PC and I do have a table but it is not enough long to keep the CPU cabinet on it so is it safe to keep it on ground?
Will the insects like beetle, ants come into it or not? Will the PC get damaged?

Yeah no problem at all, if its in a case that is LOL! But people raise them up to avoid possible floods etc...same as in warehouses, everything goes on palettes to raise off the ground to avoid risk of floods. That is the only reason why it would be raised, and for ease of access.

I've always tried to keep PCs off the floor just because they tend to take in more dust, but also because they're less likely to get kicked if they're not under a desk.

It's interesting to read some of the other concerns people detail above - flood etc!!

If you're gonna keep your PC on the floor, you might look for a case that is built to keep the hardware raised some - like the old style Mac Pro (not the new trash-can style), or perhaps simply mount it on a bloack of wood on the floor
