Just like the title says. Is it a good idea and if yes, any suggestions for a cheap but decent mini ac unit? Probably a one that is powered by 3 pin plug or usb. Need the ambient temps around my pc to be cool cos i live in a pretty humid country.

Solution
There are no "Mini" AC units on the commercial market and no GPU/CPU combination on the market would make much use of any thing like it. This has been a subject asked before and you would have to enclose the entire PC to be somewhat effective. Considering the Electric you would waste and time rigging something up like this a good Liquid cooling loop would be far more efficient and effective. 40-43 ºC is optimal you have nothing to be concerned about unless your staying @65 ºC and above. GPU's will handle more heat some of them up to º80 ºC.

Thanks for the reply! Sorry about the vote down, accidentally pressed it opps :p my idle temps are around 40 - 43 degrees. I have a 4790k with hyper 212X. My case only has its stock fans which is the Define R5 fans.

So what you're trying to say is that i would be better off with an aio liquid cpu cooler? Recommendations?

Your temps are fine look up the Range for what Intel recommends. If your still concerned then look at a Closed loop system like a H80 or H100 or a Custom Loop which is more expensive and harder to put in.
