Heating issues with r7 260x

does the r7 260x 2gb ddr5 have any heating issues?????cox i heard that occationally it becomes very hot while playing games.....and even when you are not playing games ......so is it true????

Well bro comparing that 2 gpu we should consider some factors and should be practical.in case of r7 this card got better clock speed and effective memmory clock speed compare to the gtx.but the real and actual fact about gtx is the benchmarking like 3d mark06 score and graphics score is higher than r7.l texture rate is one of the important graphical criteria u should consider.gtx got higher texture rate than r7.so like I said if you think practically then pls go for gtx 750 Ti.

How much temperature reading is shown when you are playing games and you are not??normally gpu heat when load is increased.most probably for gaming editing and other graphics oriented programs.your gpu is good and heating will not be a problem when temp readings are between 75-80 while playing games.if the idle temp is equal to the load temp,,let me know that??coz that must be of different reasons and depends on several factors like room setup,cabin placement,cabin type etc.so let me know what temp readings are shown when u r playing games and you r not.thankz

no.......while i am not playing games the average tempereture is about 68 to 72 degree celcius...but while a iam playing games its about 75 to 80..........i thouhgt that it was a problem because when we take a look at gtx 750 ti which is more or less of the same price..........it is much cooler and quiter.....isnt it??????actually i have not bought the gpu but i want to and i am confused between choosing a r7 260x and a gtx 750 ti.....so which one should i pick? @thatirsadik
