Question about US-EU voltage

Hi,
I plan on ordering this monitor off Amazon

The voltage where I'm at is 220-240V. Would I need to worry about an adapter or converter of sorts?
Also the socket type is the three pin British system.

You need to ensure it can operate at 240v, most devices can work on 110-240v.

However if you are in the EU and order from the US you need to research import duty and VAT charges, they can be excessively steep.

No need to worry about import duty or VAT.

The voltage input is defined between 90V and 260V ~
no problem there

90v - 264v

My guess is buying locally will be cheaper after taxes and import duty and far easier to return if you have a problem

You will need a new power cable or a US to UK/EU adapter

The problem is the monitor is completely unavailable where i'm at, there was one shop that had an order for this model, but after 3 months of waiting BenQ decided not to ship for some reason. So this is a kind of last resort.

Until you know the exact cable it needs I can't find an alternative but the adapter will work with a normal US plug

Oh right then, so just a simple plug adapter. So I could just find something like that and keep the cable? Would that be a viable long term solution?

The built-in power supply handles 90~264 Volts AC input voltage automatically using auto-sensing so you would only need to change the AC power cord.
