So I'm currently using all I purchased a splitter cables on ebay it's a sad to 4 small sata but I'm not sure where this sas goes I've never heard of it. Is there any other splitters I can use or how does go about using this sas cable. Any help please

Solution
SAS is Serial Attach SCSI. SAS controllers are compatible with SATA drives, but the reverse is not true. To use this cable you need a SAS controller, in your case it would have to be a PCI-e card. SAS is generally used for RAID arrays, and the controllers and drives tend to get pricey fast.

In order to add more SATA drives into your system, you'd need a SATA controller card which will need to go into a PCIe slot as well.
