I have an iBUYPOWER PC. I could send it to them for repair, but i don't want to wait 30 days for turn around if i don't have to.
Long story short I restarted my computer yesterday as i normally do, but when i did It got stuck on the MOBO BIOS, and i could not do any of the options, i called tech support and they said 1st test the battery, so i take out the battery and let it sit for 10 minutes then put it back in. Now when i try to turn it on i get absolutely nothing, no noises, no fans, no lights, Nothing as if it isn't plugged in at all.
I got my power supply tested and they said 1 of my 12v is bad. so i bought a new one to test, I installed the new power supply and plugged everything in correctly and nothing has changed, it acts as if it is unplugged. I have tried different outlets as well.
Main question is Will a bad motherboard cause this? Zero response? no fans, lights, nothing? Could it be the battery drained?
Thanks in advance

I bought a new power supply to test and put it in, i didnt put in the motherboard, the PC came fully assembled/tested out of the box and ive had no issues up till now. But the new PSU didnt help anything and is acting the same.

Right. The original PSU died, and maybe took the motherboard with it.
The new PSU works (probably), but now the motherboard is still toast.

That's my thought, anyway.
