Hardware RAID with single Asmedia SATA III port or Firmware RAID SATA II

I have a MSI 760GMA-P34(FX) board, and have 2 SSD's on the way.

My question in detail is:
Would it be best to use Firmware RAID-0 via two SATA II ports on the MB, or Hardware RAID-0 (device suggestions?) on a single ASmedia SATA III port.

The SSD's in question are both 64GB, which is why I want to RAID. I'm aware I won't feel much of a difference if I got a single 128GB drive. The price of the two was very good so I got them.

Which is best for access time/speed? As I'm not asking whether I should RAID, I hope the answer seems clear.

Thanks in advance!

I wasn't actually planning on a PCIe card (as it would be slower than SATA II on an x1 lane), I was planning on something like this controller but then I thought I should ask before getting it.

EDIT: On further inspection, the device I linked is mPCI, but I hope you understand what I mean.
