Will this new build be enough for the coming years?

My brother wants to build a new rig:
Processor: Intel i7 4690K @3.90 GHz
RAM: Transcend 1x8GB
MOBO: ASUS H97 Pro Gamer
GPU: MSI GTX 970 4GB
OS: Windows 8.1 64 Bit

I also want to know what PSU would be apt for this build. Am also looking for a cabinet. No water cooling though.

Please help

If he's getting a 4690k he should get a Z97 motherboard to overclock.
Never get a single stick of ram is better to get 2x4gb or even 2x8gb to enable dual channel.
For the PSU a Seasonic, EVGA or Antec 600-650watts PSU is recomended.

He's not going to Overclock. The processor and the RAM he already has now.
